From birth children are exposed to fundamental mathematics through interaction with their surrounding social environment.
In the classroom we will be learning about how to recognize numbers, shapes and mathematical concepts such as --- heavy -- light --- float --- sink --- full --- empty ---  space and measure. We will also learn about sorting and matching colours and shapes many many more.
It is very important for the parents to continue these techniques by counting stairs; helping the children notice numbers in the world around us (on mobiles, door numbers, clocks etc.) Repeating mathematical concepts during bath time, playing at the park or at home etc.
