Goldilocks sizing activity to do at home

This is a very good activity you can do at home to practice small, medium and large sizes and revise the story we are saying in the classroom.

Rhythm and Rhyme

The rhythm of songs, poems and rhymes help children to remember the words and helps to develop auditory memory skills.
Listening is an important skill to encourage - and it is an important step towards one day learning to read.
Since many nursery rhymes and stories also include mathematical concepts, like counting, time, height, measurement, position, volume, weather, temperature etc ... they can be used as opportunities to develop vocabulary around these concepts.

This month we are going to learn the story of goldilocks and the three bears where we are going to continue learning about concepts like small, medium and large.
